Under and by virtue of execution directed in the above captioned action to the Sheriff of Lincoln County from the Clerk of Superior Court of Lincoln County, North Carolina. I will on the 18th day of April, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the front steps of the Lincoln County Courthouse offer for sale at a public auction to the highest bidder for cash all right, title and interest which the defendant(s), Unknown Heirs of Mary Lou Watts, now or at any time at or after the docketing of the plaintiff’s judgment in Lincoln County had in the below listed property, in satisfaction of this execution.
The real property being sold is situated in Lincolnton Township, Lincoln County, North Carolina and is more particularly described as follows:
All that certain piece, parcel or lot of land situate, lying, and being in Lincolnton Township, Lincoln County, North Carolina, and being bounded on the North by lands of Ed Mauney; on the East by lands of John W. Eurey; on the South by the road; and on the West by lands of Goodman, said lot being more particularly described in accordance with a plat prepared by Hoke S. Heavner, County Surveyor, as follows:
Beginning at a point in the center of the Lithia Inn Road, Goodman’s corner and runs thence with his line North 19-1/2 deg. West 20-3/5 poles to an iron stake on the old line; thence with the old line, North 70 deg. East 7-1/2 poles to a stake, a new corner on the old line; thence, a new line with John W. Eurey, South 20 deg. East 22-1/5 poles to a point in the center of the road, a corner in Mauney’s line; thence, with the center of the road, and with Mauney’s line, South 87 deg. West 8 poles to the BEGINNING.
Subject to 2016 Lincoln County ad valorem taxes.
Title Reference: Deed is recorded in Book 599, at Page 691, Lincoln County Public Registry.
Title to the property hereinabove described is subject to the following exceptions:
ALL valid and enforceable easements, restrictions, reservations, rights of way and other conditions that may appear in the record chain of title, not removed by this execution sale.
This property is being sold “AS IS”.
The highest bidder at the sale will be required to make a cash deposit in the amount of 10% of his/her bid, with the remaining amount due on tender of the deed.
