Under and by virtue of an execution directed in the above captioned action to the Sheriff of Lincoln County from the Clerk of Superior Court of Lincoln County, North Carolina. I will on the 11th day of April, 2017 at 11:00 AM., on the front steps of the Lincoln County Courthouse offer for sale at a public auction to the highest bidder forcash all right, title, and interest which the defendant(s), Unknown Heirs of John Alexander Jr.,now or at any time at or after the docketing of the plaintiff’s judgment in Lincoln County had in the below listed property, in satisfaction of this execution. The real property being sold is situated in Ironton Township, Lincoln County, North Carolina and is more particularly described as follows:
Real Property BEGINNING at a stake in the center of the S.A.L. RR track and runs S 88 ¾
W 80 poles crossing a small branch to a post oak; thence with Henry Foster’s line N 30 E 12 poles to two small pines, now down; thence 9 poles to a stake in Henry Foster’s line; thence N 18 ¼ E 40 poles to a stake in the center of the S.A.L. RR track; thence with said Railroad Track_ 55 E 84 ½ poles to the Beginning, containing 12 ¼ acres, more or less.
Barring and excepting two one-acre lots conveyed to Oley Alexander and wife, Jennie and to Balley Heath Alexander and wife, Geneva.
TITLE REFERENCE: See Deed recorded in Book: 525, Page: 113, Lincoln County Public Registry.
Title to the property hereinabove described is subject to the following exceptions:
ALL valid and enforceable easements, restrictions, reservations, rights of way and other conditions that may appear in the record chain of title not removed by execution sale.
THIS PROPERTY IS BEING SOLD “AS IS”.
The highest bidder at the sale will be required to make a cash deposit in the amount of 10% of his/her bid, with the remaining amount due on the tender of the deed.
